These Terms and Conditions are current as of 26th August 2019 and may be amended from time to time.
Any ticket reservation is subject to the following conditions and may be revoked by the New Players Theatre Company Inc. and/or the proprietor of the venue for breach of any of the specified conditions. New Players Theatre Company Inc. may change or amend these Ticket Reservation Terms & Conditions at any time.
Those reserving tickets who are under 18 years of age must seek parental consent before reserving tickets from our website. By transacting on our website, the reserver certifies that reserver is at least 18 years of age and understands and accepts these conditions of use.
Collection of information
Name, address & contact details
Name, address and contact details provided during the reservation process must be accurate and complete. If incomplete information is supplied New Players Theatre Company Inc. reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993: The information requested is required to enable New Players Theatre Company Inc. to validate your reservation and advise you in the unlikely event of a performance being cancelled. A valid New Zealand address, email address and phone number are required. The information you have provided may be held by the company’s executives at their offices. No information provided will be shared with third parties except as required under New Zealand law.
An online booking fee of $1.00 is chargeable per ticket.
Booking and payment for tickets
Payment is required prior to tickets being issued. Tickets are issued immediately when the online purchase is completed via the New Players website.
Tickets booked via phone bookings will need to be paid for within 3 working days of the phone booking. If payment is not received within the stated timeframe, the tickets will be released for resale.
If a performance has not sold out, tickets will be available on the door on the night. Payment can be made by cash or eftpos if available.
No entry to the show will be provided without the applicable ticket.
Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be exchanged for another session of the same production provided 24 hours advance notice is given and seats are available.
Your ticket confirmation
A confirmation email which contains details of your tickets will be sent to the email address you provided during the online booking process. Tickets can be printed out at home, or the ticket confirmation email on your smartphone can be shown to door staff on the night.
All ticket prices are shown in NZ Dollars and include GST where applicable.
Presentation of the applicable ID for Gold Card and student discounts will be required upon entry to the show. Any tickets purchased without suitable ID will be required to pay the full standard price.
Photographing / Recording / Video or Audio Recording Events
Cameras and video recorders, audiotape recorders and use of other types of mobile recording devices are prohibited at all performances.
Refusal of Admission or Ejection For Objectionable Behaviour
New Players Theatre Company Inc. and/or the venue reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose behaviour does not comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the venue and/or New Players Theatre Company Inc.
Latecomers will not be given access to the performance unless there is a convenient break in the programme.
Postponement / Cancellation / Interruption
New Players Theatre Company Inc. and/or the Venue Owner may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond their reasonable control. Where postponement or cancellation occurs prior to an event New Players Theatre Company Inc. will use the information provided at reservation to advise the reservation holders.
